I have to talk about Jane the Virgin purely because this show took over my life for the week I binge watched season one. The back story: this women called Jane (who may I add is a virgin) is artificially inseminated and becomes pregnant; yup that’s a hell of a storyline. those of you who already watch it – are you Rafael or Michael? And to those of you reading this that don’t; download Netflix and watch it because it’ll be the best part of your week, until you start watching then it could be the worst.
Whilst I haven’t been buying much makeup recently because I have been incredibly restrained (almost too restrained, where has the impulse buyer in me gone ??) I did purchase the Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Lolita II and it has been one of the only thing on my lips in recent weeks. The longevity is fantastic and the formula doesn’t crack or dry my lips out too much but I have to be honest, even if the consistency and formula wasn’t great I would still buy this product – the shade is gorgeous. It’s a browny/reddy toned nude and nothing like I’ve seen before – I think I’ve discovered that browner nudes suit me better than ones with pink undertones and there will be no more makeup faux pas… hopefully.
Ludivico Einaudi is a pianist I’ve been listing to for the longest time and recently I have been learning his pieces on the piano. The music is just so beautiful and entrancing and there aren’t enough words to describe how in love with his music I am. If you are even mildly interesting in classical music you will love his work and even if you don’t like classical music please listen to it and tell me what you think (my favourite songs have to be Igiorni and Nuvole Bianche).
