On Thursday 22nd January 2015, a young Eleanor posted her first ever blog post (well second but the first was deleted therefore we shall erase all memory of that) and therefore the website that is no known as eleanorclaudie.com was born. Evolved throughout the past few years to span a wide range of topics and I’m starting to write about topics that I’m super passionate about and not half hearted makeup reviews – my blog has really become my thing and I love it; I’m stoked to see what the future has for Eleanor Claudie and I hope you can all join me on that journey.
USo what better way to honour my two year blogiversary of Eleanor Claudie than with a giveway?! I’ve never done one before but I’ve taken advice from other bloggers of the internet and I’ve decided to go for a little makeup purchase that I hope you will all love. My first post on this blog was a review of the Naked 3 palette and whilst I have slightly moved on from just writing about my latest beauty purchase I thought it would be perfect to give an Urban Decay palette away! I’ve had my eye on the Ultimate basics palette for a while so thought it would be fitting to give it away. Urban Decay are a cruelty free makeup brand but they’re also vegan too, I wanted to give something away that was really nice but that you could all enter to win. This blog is about being inclusive and catering for everyone so I wouldn’t want to exclude any of you from entering the giveaway.
I ordered this palette a few weeks ago and it arrived, I opened it and black eye shadow went everywhere. Like I am not kidding there were little specks of the shadow that had smashed on my floor for a good week. I emailed Debenhams and I have to admit the customer service was impeccable; within the next two days a replacement palette had arrived and all was good – I finally had something to give away (there’s my little story time for this post). Let me just say that if the pigment of the black eye shadow is a reflection of the pigment of the rest of the palette then who ever wins this I am very jel, it is gawgusss.
There are only a few rules as I wanted to make the entry as easy as possible, I’ve done the whole Rafflecopter method as it seems a lot easier than any other way.
