Despite this post going up nearly two weeks since I’ve been back from Italy, it’s one that I just had to do. There’s a selection of some of the photos I took and the sights I saw, but it’s something to look back and remember. Italy is such a gorgeous place, with something new around every cover, this just making everything all the more magical. We went to Rome, Ravenna, Venice and Verona, also visiting the islands of Murano and Burano. My favourite place has to be Burano, the beautiful multi-coloured houses just captured the sense of sense of happiness on the Island and I loved it. Italy is gorgeous and I think going there made me want to travel so much more. Realizing the world doesn’t just revolve around England and the fact I didn’t have WiFi for the week made me appreciate it even more – I didn’t just see everything through a screen. Needless to say I’d love to go back to Italy and loved every minute of being there.
