Last week I was lucky enough to stay in Brighton for the night and needless to say that meant shopping. There were a couple of pieces I’ve had my eye on before going and I’m so glad I bought them!
I bought a few clothing bits including a pair of Cain jeans from Topshop. I’d been on the lookout for a pair of plain jeans as I cannot keep wearing black jeans (even though I’m wearing them whilst writing this post). This fit of jeans I’d never seen before but I tried them on and they just fitted perfectly! They’re described as high-rise ankle grazers and they are certainly true to form. I’m slightly obsessed with striped tops so it wasn’t surprising that the two tops I bought were… stripey! I bought this casual t-shirt from Pull and Bear as it’s so soft and comfy. Lastly, this striped jumper from Urban Outfitters is probably my favourite buy.
A lip product that Taylor (@tayloredbeauty_) always talks about are the Nars matte lip pencils. I’ve already worn the one I bought a couple of times and I love it! I don’t know why it has taken me so long to try them out! The one I bought in Dolce Vita is just this perfect pinky-nude shade (not that I need anymore nudes)! I don’t really have many blushers in my makeup collection and despite the whole contour trend I feel it can look unnatural without a bit of blush. I decided to splurge and buy not one but two *realises that no one cares how many blushes I bought* blushes. The first one was in Orgasm – a super rosy blush with glitter running throughout it. I really like the shade of this and will report back to you how I get along with it. The other blush I also bought was the Too Faced Long-lasting 16-hour blush. I got one in a set for Christmas and fell in love with the formula – I just had to buy another! I bought one in the shade ‘I will always love you‘ a stunning nudey peach shade and it is just so wearable; eek I love it!
There’s my little Brighton haul and I hope you enjoyed it!
