ur cool

We all feel down at some point, whether it be about ourselves or what we do, a bad day or an exam that you thought you’d failed – it happens to the best of us. But that’s life, it doesn’t always go to plan and it isn’t always great but that’s okay. Therefore I bring you this post of positivity, something to save if you ever feel like rubbish (which you’re not but like I said, we all feel that way sometimes).

You’re cool, yes you – everyone that reads this is different and unique and beautiful in their own right. A negative attitude about one’s self can be easily amended, we all have flaws and thoughts that nibble away at our confidence but it doesn’t have to be this way.
Don’t strive for perfection, it’s great if you want things done well but keep in mind that no one and nothing is perfect, you do you and stop comparing your successes to others. Success is incomparable; one persons victory is another persons failure so in no way should you think yourself as any less of a human being – there shouldn’t be anyone that should make you feel that way. Surround yourself with people that make your day just that little bit better, there is nothing worse than having toxic people ruining your vibe (because trust me, toxic people are going to ruin your mood in an instant). You only get one chance at life so be who you want to be and don’t let anyone stop you (unless it is for the greater good). Seeing as I’m studying Romeo and Juliet I thought it would be fitting to include one of my favourite quotes from the play “seek happy nights to happy days” a quote that is bursting with happiness in my opinion (shout out to my English teacher who won’t read this but would be proud I’ve included it).

You’re beautiful.
You’re smart.
You’re funny.
You can change someone’s day by just one sentence.
You make people smile.
You’re capable of anything you put your mind to.
You’re stronger than you think you are
You’re worth more than you think you are.
You’re clever enough to get rid of the people getting you down.
You are special.
You’re cool.
You may not be all of these but I can bet that you’re at least one. So after this rambling about positivity I just wanted to say… you’re cool. Leave a comment about something good that happened today as I would love to read all your positive stories 🙂 Happy Monday and I hope you all have a great week.

Awe this post really made me smile. Sometimes we are very hard on ourselves, and find it hard to stand back up on our feet as keep moving. It can also be hard to motivate ourselves and tell our minds that everything is OK, and that we are not as bad as we think we are. I wrote a post similar to this a while ago, but I'll link it below for you 🙂
