the ‘must have’ palette

I’m a sucker for a good old eye shadow palette. You get so much more from your money than individual eye shadows and although you might not use every shade in the palette, chances are you will still use a lot. There are so many well loved palettes on the market and if you bought all of them… well you would need a lot of money! There are palettes tailored for everyone but today I wanted to talk about the palette I think would suit almost everyone – the one you need in your life.

This ‘must have’ beauty buy comes in the form of the Urban Decay Naked palette. It’s velvet packaging is great to look at (it also looks quite fabulous in blog photos as well) and despite it feeling slightly cheaper than the other Urban Decay palettes, that is one of the few minor faults I can find with it.  I know it is hyped up by other beauty bloggers and quite rightly so; it is so versatile and if I don’t know what to wear on my eyes I find myself gravitating to this palette over any other in my collection. I have to say though, I do sometimes use the palette for my brows as well – it’s so easy just to use the shade ‘naked’ if I’m in a rush as I can quickly do my eyes and brows with the same product!

The bottom line is, this eyeshadow palette is pretty damn good and if you haven’t got it already or was looking into buying it I totally would. Let my know your ‘must have’ palette down below!

Its so weird because out of all of the naked palettes this is the one I don't own, I just find that 2 and 3 meet my needs are are much better quality in terms of packaging

They are a lot better in terms of packaging but I just love the shades in the naked original! 🙂

I finally treated myself to this recently after wanting it for about 4 years and oh my goodness I am OBSESSED with it! I haven't used a single other eyeshadow since and they''re so long lasting too 🙂 Definitely my holy grail eye shadow palette!

We love the Urban Decay palettes! It's one of the best selection of colors!
Our favorite is the Naked 2, with all the matte tones. It's a personal preference since we are not fan of glitters…
    Great review!

I've heard so much about this palette and your review is great, I adore the shades and how pigmented they are! I think my favourites might be Toasted and Half Baked, you are so lucky to own them! 😀 xx

I'm such a bad beauty blogger, I don't have this palette, I have number 3 though. I use my MAC palette a lot so I just haven't got round to buying this even though I know I would love it so much I'm all about the bronze and gold shimmers! Thank you for reminding me that I need this!!
