So… I spent too much money on clothes, makeup and facemasks and I thought I would share it on the internet for ya. Among sightseeing and eating in Barcelona we also had some time for shopping and needless to say I was a little too excited to go to Brandy Melville – I don’t quite think my bank account was prepared for going in that shop. In fact I bought so much that I couldn’t show it all in this post; there’s a dress (which I sadly couldn’t find on the website) and also a slate tshirt (I also couldn’t find it on the website) which are both currently in the wash *bad blogger here soz*.
Exhibit A of why I should not be given money; I will most probably spend almost all of it on T-shirts. However, in a recent issue of Vogue I read it stated that repeat buying is okay (yep no need to guilt buy here) as there is no point in buying clothes you won’t wear. Therefore I totally bought the two stripy tops without any need for more mental justification. Whilst there was an abundance of pretty strappy tops in Brandy Meville I decided to only buy one due to the weather in England – short sleeve T-shirts are definitely more weather appropriate. Honestly the clothing is such good quality and I just wish there was a Brandy Meville store nearer to where I live although I think my purse is breathing a sigh of relief.
A trip abroad couldn’t have been really a trip without going to Sephora. But it was to my surprise that hidden in a department store by the Placa Catalunya there would be a Sephora that sold Kat Von D. Kat Von D is a brand I’ve wanted to try for the longest time, in particular their liquid lipsticks (not that I need any more lipsticks in my makeup collection but one more can’t hurt). The shade Lolita II stood out for me and I had to buy it, I did want to buy Double Dare as well but I refrained as I really did not need two lipsticks in a similar shade. I love the formula already but if you’d like me to do a full review on this product just leave me a comment down below and I’ll be sure to write one!
I’ve never tried Korean skincare before and everyone raves on about the Tony Moly facemasks so what did I do? Purchase seven of the sheet face masks. However, after doing some research before writing this post I found out that Tony Moly still tests on animals so whilst I am excited to try these I won’t be buying them again for that very reason. I should’ve looked into it before buying them but next time I will definitely educate myself before buying a new makeup or skincare product.
So that’s what I bought whilst in Barcelona! What’s your favourite piece from this haul and have you bought anything you love lately? 🙂
