It’s Eleanor here with a fashion post (feeling very chuffed about this as I haven’t done one in what feels like forever) for days where I don’t want to make that much of an effort but also want to look mildly presentable which basically means not wearing jeans. I actually love this look, a pair of slightly baggy colourful trousers *shock* (from Zara) and a River Island sleeveless crop top (I also have khaki trousers from Missguided that would look lovely with a grey sleeveless crop top). I slightly want to get on the culotte hype though, my mum has five pairs and I’m just so tempted… despite them being nearly the length of normal trousers on me. It’s not really surprising to you that I would pair this outfit with my Stan Smiths, although I do think my converse would go well with this look as well. This is basically the most comfortable outfit ever and if the weather starts depreciating my Zara denim jacket is the handiest.
I’m going to Barcelona next Tuesday and I’m going to have to majorly refrain from spending all my money in Zara, there’s also a Brandy Melville which I am wayyyyy too excited to shop there, my nearest one would be London which is an hour and a half away and I’ve never been despite Brandy Melville matching my style down to a tee. If any of you have any sightseeing, shopping or eating recommendations I would love to know in the comments (you can always tweet me on twitter as well)! We’re going for four days so want to see as much as we can in that time without being too stressed or cramming all the sightseeing in.
On a slight tangent have any of you bought any clothes from American Apparel? I really want to buy some of their clothes as they all look really nice on the model and their ethos seems quite good as well – I know the garments are more expensive but it’s all sweatshop free and I want to start buying more ethically; especially in the past couple of months I’ve stopped buying makeup that tests on animals (yes I still wear my MAC makeup but I am not going to buy anything new from the brand).
I hope you enjoyed this little OOTD/outfit post and let me know you most worn piece in your wardrobe recently, I would love to know!
