2016 has been an amazing year. I’ve been offered loads of amazing opportunities, from working with brands, going to various concerts, visiting Spain and Italy – It’s been a really memorable year. It’s also been a year full of ups and downs, but I’m thankful for my amazing family and friends and those around me. There have been personal triumphs and I’m so proud of how much I’ve grown this year – it’s crazy to look back at how I’ve changed since the start of 2016; a year can really shape a human.

This is definitely my favourite photo on my blog, I look so happy and the pigeon  in the bottom left corner looks so content, my Pisa post certainly was a favourite of the year.

In the summer I went to a little Island near where I live and this picture captures how happy I was that day (as do the other photos in that post). 2016 was about self discovery and realising that photos don’t have to be always  staged and posy, the blurry ones capture the happiness and the moment perfectly.

The year has been full of changes and not just personally, some incredible people have died this year and i’m so grateful to have experienced their magic in my lifetime. The world is changing so rapidly and 2016 was probably the first year in my life that I’ve realised how life is so precious and every day counts, no matter how much you think it is irrelevant.

The new year as definitely caught me by surprise, it’s crazy to think that this is the last post of 2016!
I’ve got a lot of new plans for 2017, with my blog and my personal life. Obviously (I promise I won’t go on about it too much) I have ma GCSE’s so there will be some absences on my blog when I can’t write – I need some downtime as well. For now though, I’m going to try and keep posting twice a week.

Probably my favourite makeup post of the year (yes I know I haven’t done many this year) and I think my photography game has stepped up a notch, the Tartlette in Bloom palette truly is a beauty.
I’m currently sat here watching the Holiday and still grasping on the last bit of Christmas, I’m so grateful for all my friends and family for my presents – I hope you all had a great Christmas and it was nice to have a little break over the festive period.
Ahhh Florence, you stole my heart :)))

I’ve inserted a few of  my favourite photos/blog posts from the year so I hope you enjoy them. What have been your favourite posts of mine this year? I would love to know 🙂 Also let me know what blogs you’ve been loving this year, I would love to read some new blogs in the new year.

Here’s to a good year and let’s see what 2017 holds… happy new year!

It's so great that you've enjoyed 2016! Travelling so much sounds amazing, and I'm so jealous. 2016 has been rough for me, but I've also experienced a lot of new things and grown so much as a person, so I'm trying to look at it from a positive angle. At least we'll have a completely fresh start in a couple of days.
